Prof. Moriba Jah, appointed as Chair of Space Applications at Tod’Aérs

Prof. Moriba Jah is currently Professor at The University of Texas at Austin, Non-resident Fellow at UNIDIR — UN Institute for Disarmament Research, Director of Computational Astronomical Sciences & Technologies at Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, and Program Lead of Space Security & Safety at The Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law in United States of America.

He is also Visiting Professor at The Australian National University , Member of the Board of Advisor at Explore Mars Inc., Executive Mentor for Patti Grace Smith Fellowship and Expert Contributor at NPR. He was consecutively awarded by NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration in 2001, 2005 and 2007 for his contribution in Mars Missions Navigation. He was also awarded the American Air Force Research Laboratory’s Fellowship in 2015, TED Conferences Fellowship and AIAA’s Fellowship in 2019 and The Op-Ed Project’s Public Voices Fellowship in 2020.
