In the Spotlight: two research advisors from Tod’Aérs among the IAF’s Emerging Space Leaders

Two research advisors from Tod’Aérs – Transparent Organization for Aeronautics and Space Research, Giuliana Rotola and Ruvimbo Samanga, were chosen by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Emerging Space Leaders Sub-Committee composed of nine highly experienced space stakeholders. They will travel to Dubai in October 2021 to participate in the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) and have the opportunity to extend their network, gain knowledge and meet space experts!

Giuliana Rotola is currently Co-Lead of the Space Law & Policy Project Group and Co-lead of the Satellite Constellations team for the Space Safety & Sustainability Project Group at the Space Generation Advisory Council – in support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications (UN SGAC). She is also an advisor to the Task Force on U.S. Space Legislation.

Ruvimbo Samaga is currently Consultant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). She was recognized by the German Magazine GenZEO as one of the World’s Top Talent Under 25. Recently, she was recognized by CNN as one of the three women shaping Space Exploration on the African Continent.

Together, Giuliana Rotola and Ruvimbo Samanga co-host the podcast NewMoon, with the goal of shaping the future of lunar exploration in a way that reflects new and old values, to represent and include the whole of humanity, not a small advantaged minority. NewMoon is sponsored by the Open Lunar Foundation, based in California, United States.

We are honored to have such amazing people onboard Tod’Aérs – Transparent Organization for Aeronautics and Space Research.
