The Former IMF Executive Director His Excellency Mr. Piotr Trabinski (Poland) joins the Governing Board of Tod’Aérs Global Network [TGN]. At the International Monetary Fund (IMF), His Excellency Mr. Piotr Trabinski oversaw policy issues ranging from fiscal, and monetary policies and financial sector supervision to central bank digital currencies (CBDC), Fintech regulation, and AML-CFT.
His Excellency Mr. Piotr Trabinski also oversaw the Fund's financing, and operations, and liaised between IMF management and authorities of nine countries. Prior to that, he worked in Poland's banking sector where he held senior managerial positions in the corporate segment while spearheading innovative IT projects.
His Excellency Mr. Piotr Trabinski has a multidisciplinary academic background in law (JD and LLM from the University of Warsaw), computer science, and cybersecurity (M.Eng. from the George Washington University), as well as international relations (The Institute of World Politics), complemented by over 13 years of experience in finance and policy.
Currently, Mr. Piotr Trabinski consults for both public and private entities in different geographies on issues related to digital transformation, digital money, climate change, and financial sector supervision. He's a Consultant for the World Bank Group.
